I recently purchase this ribbed knit maxi dress from target and loved the fit so much I bought it in black and brown. I’m looking forward to dressing this up for the office or church as well as dressing it down to play outside with our son this summer.

Look 1: Maxi Dress with an Oversized Button Down

A perfect “dressed up” look that’s easy to wear. The button down adds a nice layer for cooler days and the flats are comfortable for walking in. I added a crossbody bag to give some shape to what could be a bland silhouette.

Look 2: Sneakers and a Baseball Cap

Perfect look for a morning at the park and maybe a nice lunch after. A draped sweater over the shoulder adds some visual interest and keeps the outfit from looking like one beige column.

Look 3: A Beach Look with Linen and Straw

I’m using texture to create visual interest in this look with a linen vest, braided belt and straw bag. Flat brown sandals are a perfect base for this look.

Look 4: A Slightly Edgy Look with Oversized Denim

Less easy-breezy than the other looks, this style would be well-suited for evenings. Black, acid-wash denim adds texture and weight while black sandals anchor the look. I added a black bandana and a checkered bag to up the cool factor of this look.
