The cheese platter has become a non-optional necessity whenever my friends and I gather. Whether it’s a girls night in with wine and movies or a themed cooking club event, someone will inevitably offer to assemble a platter of cheese for sharing. It’s the centerpiece to any room it’s placed in and is orbited around like a sun while we fellowship with one another and casually snag bites.

Anna was charged with hosting our ‘Produce of Fall’ themed cooking club and I was quick to call dibs on bringing the cheese. This cheese dip has a hefty dose of pumpkin making it perfect for this season. I laid slices of pears, apples and pumpernickel bread next to the cheese for dipping and spreading while we drank wine and caught up on the latest happenings.

This would also be a great appetizer to serve on game day this football season. Because the best part of any game are the snacks. Truth be told, getting into sports isn’t something I’ve invested in, but hand over a beer and set a platter of cheese in front of me and I would be love to watch the game with you.

Whether you have a game day or wine night event, this dip is a great snack to bring along. It’s made with a blend of goat and cream cheese so it’s a little more mild than straight goat cheese making it perfect for a crowd. Try it out and tell me about it below!
